Itinerary

Option 1: Direct from Kigali
4:30 AM – Pickup from Kigali
– Your driver-guide will collect you from your hotel in Kigali for the 3-hour drive to Musanze.
– Stop for scenic photos of Rwanda’s iconic hills along the way.

7:30 AM – Arrival at Volcanoes National Park
– Check in at the park headquarters in Kinigi.
– Receive a detailed briefing from the park rangers on safety and trekking guidelines.

8:30 AM – Begin the Gorilla Trek
– Venture into the forest with expert trackers to find a gorilla family.
– The trek can take 1 to 6 hours depending on the gorillas’ movement.
– Spend **one magical hour** observing and photographing these majestic creatures.

12:30 PM – Return from the Trek
– Make your way back to the park headquarters.
